Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels. Several factors contribute to diabetes, including stress, which can stimulate the release of ACTH, which then triggers the adrenal glands to release the hormone cortisol, which in turn increases blood glucose levels. Low physical activity is a risk factor for uncontrolled blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients. Objective: To determine the relationship between stress levels and physical activity with blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients at RSUD Kesesi Pekalongan Methods: This quantitative study used a descriptive correlation method with a cross-sectional study design. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 100 respondents. Stress levels were measured using the DASS-21 questionnaire, physical activity using the valid and reliable IPAQ questionnaire. The Spearman rank test was used to determine the relationship between stress levels and physical activity with blood sugar levels. Results: There was a significant correlation between stress levels and blood sugar levels, with a p-value of 0.0001 and a correlation coefficient of 0.758. For physical activity, the correlation was -0.610 with a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: There is a correlation between stress levels and physical activity with blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus at RSUD Kesesi Pekalongan.
